Wilson Creek and Wiens Cellars Wedding Photography | Nicole & Jeff

Hey everyone! Last Saturday, I made the trip out to hot, hot, HOT Temecula to photograph Nicole and Jeff’s big day! I lived in Temecula for a short time, way back when and I was astonished to see how much that place has grown – it’s insane! Anyways, the day started off at the beautiful Wilson Creek Winery. After a small, intimate ceremony we headed to one of the ballrooms for a small reception and the cake cutting. Then, we headed over to the equally awesome Wiens Family Cellars for some wine tasting and portraits. Everyone had a really good time and I was honored to be a part of it! I’d like to send out a special thanks to Kevin Le Vu for second shooting for me and Megan Pangan for assisting!

San Clemente Courtside Wedding Photography | Elizabeth & Phil

A couple Sundays ago, I once again teamed up with Henry Chen for yet another beautiful, fun-filled Wedding! This time it was Elizabeth & Phil’s turn to tie the knot and the day did not disappoint! My day started off at the lovely Courtside Restaurant in San Clemente, where Phil and his guys were getting ready. From there, we went to a local church for the first look and formals, then back to the restaurant for the ceremony and reception. It was a great day in San Clemente with a perfect ocean breeze that swept into the canyon we were in. I should also mention that I liked Elizabeth & Phil right away – I have the theme song from “Arrested Development” (the greatest TV show EVER created, mind you) as my ringtone and I happened to get a call while I was getting the initial shots of Phil. He heard it and we talked about the show for a bit – then he let me know that Elizabeth loves the show too, so I made sure to ring off some classic AD lines to her. It was a really fun day and also featured the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life (see the shots of them – they were amazing!).

Laguna Beach Wedding Photography | Evan & Ilia

A couple weekends ago, I had an absolutely awesome time assisting the uber-talented Henry Chen on Ilia and Evan’s Laguna Beach Wedding. As is always the case with Henry’s clients, Evan and Ilia were super friendly and hospitable to our team the entire day and it was a blast to help document their big day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience – when I met up with Evan and his guys at their getting ready location, right away they were joking with me and made me feel welcome. Thanks guys! And congratulations to Ilia & Evan!

Newport Beach Engagement Photography – Tiffany & Chase

Hey everyone! Last week, I met up with Tiffany and Chase to shoot their ultra-cool engagement session! I just booked their September 25th Wedding a few weeks ago, so we quickly got the engagement session planned out. I met up with them at In Cahoot’s in Fullerton for some line dancing and pool playing, then we headed west to Balboa Pier for some beach football. It was a lot of fun capturing some entertaining and tender moments between these two. Tiffany is the sister of Jamie, a bride whose Wedding I shot back in June, and I can’t wait to shoot hers as well next month – it’s gonna be a blast!

St. Vincent De Paul Church and Costa Mesa Country Club Wedding | Cami & Tim

Hi everyone! A couple Saturdays ago, I was ecstatic to be a second shooter alongside fellow Photographer John Pascale at Cami & Tim’s Wedding! My day started off at Tim’s place, where I got some quick getting ready shots of Tim, his Father and his best man. From there, it was off to the amazing St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church for the ceremony, and then to the Costa Mesa Country Club for the very fun reception. It was a great time – Cami & Tim were really good sports and they were extremely accommodating to us so we could get some great shots of them. At the end of the night, Cami & Tim were whisked away in a waiting car – but not before they made their grand exit through a waiting crowd saluting them with sparklers! Good times, I tell ya.

South Shores Church and Newport Beach Marriott Wedding Photography | Jessica & Rory

Hey everyone! This past Saturday, I had a really awesome time working alongside my friend Henry Chen (again). This time, it was another cool couple of his – Jessica and Rory! I know I have talked about it before, that it’s always a blast working with Henry and his couples are always so much fun to work with! I am always so happy to work with him. We shot all of the getting ready shots at the Newport Beach Marriott, then we headed down to Monarch Beach to South Shores Church for the Ceremony, then back to the Marriott for the Reception. Whew! It was a beautiful day out and thankfully, we got a break from our recent heat wave and enjoyed the nice beach breeze that both venues had to offer. All in all, another great Wedding and great day in the books!

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to team up with the great Henry Chen to second shoot a Wedding along with him. It was Ruby and Leonard’s big day, and it’s always a pleasure and privilege to work with Henry! Henry continues to be a huge source of inspiration and guidance to me and I am always extremely grateful when I am able to shoot alongside of him.

Back to the Wedding – Ruby and Leonard and all of their family and friends were an absolute blast to be around. It was one of those days that just fly by because you’re enjoying yourself so much and I was very happy to be a part of it! Laguna Beach Engagement Photography | Debora & Josh

Hey everyone! On Saturday, I spent some time in Laguna Beach hanging out with and getting to know Debora and Josh. For those of you who have never been to Laguna Beach, it’s one of the coolest, most eclectic/artistic places you’ll ever see and a VERY popular tourist spot in Southern California. I highly recommend paying it a visit if you haven’t been there!

After getting some shots in the city, we headed out to the beach for some shots on the water. By then end of the shoot, the three of us were pretty much drenched from the waist down, but it was worth it! We got some really fun shots and I was so happy that Debora and Josh were such good sports through it all. I’m super excited for their September Newport Beach Wedding, which will be held on a Yacht! It’s gonna be awesome!

Hollywood Magic Castle Wedding | Jessica & David

Hey everyone! This past Sunday, I had the amazing honor of photographing Jessica and David’s Wedding at the world famous Hollywood Magic Castle! I had never been to the Magic Castle but had always wanted to go, so this was a really great opportunity for me and there was no way I was going to turn it down. After getting a tour of the Magic Castle from the Castle’s Wedding Coordinator, I met up with Jessica and her girls while she was getting ready. I am a huge fan of old-time Hollywood, so I was super excited when I saw how Jessica was going to look when she was all done up. It was truly awesome to see – she looked like a starlet out of a silent picture! After the ceremony, we were even treated to a magic show by the great Joel Ward! It was SO much fun and such a unique event for a Wedding!

Jessica and David are two of the funniest, most photogenic people I have ever met – I didn’t think much could top the fun I had with them at their engagement session but I was wrong! The Wedding was so much fun and I will remember this experience forever!

I’d like to extend a huge thanks to Erin Chick at the Magic Castle for her hospitality and for helping me out throughout the night! Here are some shots I got from their big day – enjoy!
